on a Doctor to go to his stories.
For stories with no overall title I have generally
used those in current fan usage (ie "100,000BC" rather than
"An Unearthly Child") even though I think they're horrid. Common alternatives are given.
See DWM315 for information about the titles.
I have included here all the Doctor Who stories which were shown as part of the ongoing series on the BBC - loosely considered by most as the "canon". Sensible additions here include the originally unscreened first attempt at "An Unearthly Child" (included with the whole story, "100,000BC"), the unfinished "Shada" (which was intended to be screened) and the 8th Doctor TV Movie. I have not included ""Dimensions in Time" , "The Curse of Fatal Death" or "Attack of the Graske". I do not consider them to be "proper" episodes and references to them can be found elsewhere. For the record, I do consider "K-9 & Company" to be canonical, but it is properly listed under "Spinoffs". How I deal with "Torchwood" will depend on what extent DWM deals with it (not much it would seem).
Each story includes the writer (w) and director (d) credits, plus original UK transmission dates. Uncredited writers are also included where their contribution is known to be significant.
